Tom,
Thank you for this inquiry. I am sorry that I have taken so long to reply.
At the ACA last year and in private communications since we have shared this
information with Al Pike and one or two Surgeons he has introduced us to.
Since the details of the surgical protocol are lengthy, I feel it would be
more appropriate if I communicate with you on this directly, and not on the
list. I will initiate that discussion in another message. You have also
asked for a web site. It is www.czbiomed.md We will soon add a list to
the web site of all of the articles that have been published (and references
to TV programs)
Thanks.

There is also a surgeon in North Carolina who is working with a new
surgical anesthesia protocol and monitoring a variety of serum levels to try
to gain better surgical outcome in relation to post surgical pain and
osteophyte formation.

Dear Ruth,
Would like to hear more about this if you have a website or article.
One of the things we are excited about is micro-current electro-medicine
technology. We have all seen a lot of snake oil (ads for new meds and
treatments with dubious claims and no supporting hard science). However,
micro-currant is no humbug. (Words used to describe the first US ether
anesthetic).
I know of two companies that produce devices on this principle. We use
the Alpha Stim in our pain clinic and I tried it for phantoms. It took away
my phantoms almost immediately. This personal trial has been repeated
many time now same results every time. I have written some academic
friends recommending RCTs (random controlled trials) however, I am not
aware in the planning phase.
As we see too often, the Alpha Stim can purchased by anyone OTC in Europe
but is a prescription-only item in the states.
(disclaimer I am in no way associated with these companies and do not
benefit in any way from their sale or use beyond the help they provide our
patients)
Thom
