  During the civil war - amputation was done for injuries, how considered treatable, because so many died from infection.  It begs a question; We go to great length to clean and sterilize - if put in many port of this world - if we ate the food and drank the water - we would get sick and die.  Take some guy who grew up next the Yellow river with turds and bodies floating by - put him in any port of the world - he could eat the food, drink the water and survive.  Question: - Who is doing right?
