Used Prosthesis Donation to the Barr Foundation

Yes Saskia, we would gladly accept the used prosthetics and provide you to
with a written acknowledgement of the donation.
Provided the prostheses are endoskeletal in design, where the components can
be detached from the prosthesis (foot, pylons adapters,knee etc.) we can
dismantle the components when they arrive.
The older type prosthetics are exoskeltal which were commonly fabricated as
one piece laminated plactic and are not reuseable.
Most all of the components are applied to prostheses fabricated and
assembled for our third world efforts where the need is great.
Any other amputees on this listerve are also encouraged to donate their used
endoskeletal prostheses.
