To Talk or Not to Talk

One day Janet Buck asked:

As one who was hospitalized near my family in 1969 when that motorcycle 
accident removed my leg, it was not a problem. Fact, it was their support 
post-op for which I am eternally grateful. I've see the other side of the coin to 
which you refer. Gotta be difficult to take. In my case,  just the luck of the 
draw.  

"When lights are out, I finger
all my sister's shoes in pristine rows --
their symbols make a fine ballet
I'd love to have a ticket to."

Indeed.....I love the third line....
