Wow, I hear a message loud and clear,
I'm all right Jack, too bad about you!!

In a caring world the good of the whole, be it a community, a neighbourhood,
an organization, comes before the good of individuals within that
community. In the bigger picture look at North America, how much of world
natural resouces does it consume? Who pays the price so that we can live
well?

The same arguement is being used to deny a basic human right, good medical
care, to a large number of your citizens. This will never change while
people hang on to what they have, because they fear that sharing it will
make them a little less priveleged.

I have always lived in a country with universal medical coverage. Yes,
there have been problems, but overall I have received very good treatment.
No, I do not have the options of Wayne, but neither do I want them if it
means that many of my neighbours would not have access to the same doctors
and the same hospitals as I .

I am a recent BK amputee and I am struggling to get proper attention and a
properly aligned new leg! I will get it, but I just may take a little
longer than for someone like Wayne.

Good luck Mady. I hope things will change for you and others like you.

Carol
