Because this does not benefit the insurance carrier or the vendor. Its about 
them not you. 
    
Can I change Prosthesis? Does he have the ability to change what I want? 

Depends upon who is paying the bill. If you are paying you can have anything 
you want. A responsible insurance carrier should give you what you need. Many 
times we are sold more then we need.
