Unless there is some really good reason for not recycling, I think it should be done.  There are certainly enough people who cannot afford new components, so recycling could benefit a few of those folks and, in my opinion, should.

Please send me a copy also as I recycle components 5 days a week in the United States and the manufacturer knows I do.
