I'm not sure about the prosthetic community, but it is very true the amputee community has no "representation.:" There is the ACA that claims to represent the amputee community, but offers no method for the amputee community to voice its will. It would seem very hard to represent someone if you don't now what that someone (or collective "someones") desire regarding an issue. And short of offering membership voting or asking each one, how would you know?

It would seem that Ossur has a battle on two fronts now the prosthetic community and the amputee community. Both, however have no ability to conduct any kind of action to counter what is going on so there really is no battle to fight. So let's just talk happy talk and go blindly down the yellow brick road.
