Bent hello, hoe u?
Thank you for the information Marianne. I am planning to cycle through your country come late May 2004. My research has lead me to a publication from the Stichting Landelijk Fietsplatform found at ANWB/VVV (Tourist Information Office). It is called FIETSIDEEËNKAART. Would this be a good publication to find detailed cycling maps? I need to plan a route from Rotterdam to Amsterdam, up to Gorningen. From there we will go to Hamberg,Germany. Would the tourist office have anything in English? The Dutch are such strong cyclists! I spent the summer in the company of 3 cyclists from Holland, and look forward to riding with them again. I am leading a group of 4 amputee cyclist across Europe. I just did a American Crossing myself this summer. you can read about it at www.ampu-cycle.com.
Thank you for the information I will look over your site and may ask you a lot of questions.

Hi,
I can tell you that in Holland we have the SLWB, an organisation for people with leg-prosthesis, we have Stichting De Benen Nemen, also an organisation for amputees. It does support for Dutch amputees but also gathers money for people in the third world (www.debenennemen.nl, it's also in English, German, French, Spanish) and there is my website, www.beenamputatie.nl (also in English and German). On my website we have an online support group for people with a high amputation and I have an e-mail group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/amputatie/ as well. The e-group is only Dutch.
All the best, Marianne, Holland

I am trying to compile a list of amputee support groups and rehab providers in England and the rest of Europe. Does anyone have suggestions?
