I have only had mine for 2 months so I do not know yet how long it lasts but I wash mine after wearing with Ivory soap and rinse it good and let it dry and wear my other one, I find if I use a nylon knee high stocking ( I have alot of these and change them daily) my leg does not sweat as much. and it doesn't stick to my skin and cause a blister or irritation. Subject: Re: Alpha liner - how long does your's last?
Hi Folks:
I have been wearing Alpha Liners for 2-3 years. My first set lasted about 6 months; the second set about 10 months and my most recent set, which I am replacing now, lasted 14 months. Mine show lots of wear, and ultimate total erosion, at the bony point of my knee.
In the last 8-10 months I have experienced skin problems that come and go. I sent an e-mail about this about 1 1/2 months ago. The skin problems are not sever, do not cause pain, but sometimes itch. I found that I had some fungus, which I easily cleared up, but the purple blotchiness comes and goes with my use of a corticosteroid.
Hopefully, my new Alpha's will relieve the skin issues.
Harris
