susan,
i own several of those "pant slips", however i only use them when dressing up 
<which is very rare these days>  i normally wear jeans, or khaki type pants. 
i missed your original post.
so i'm not  sure if you're ak, or bk.  but since i am both i will tell you 
this,  the trouble, if it's an ak, can be remedied by wearing an exo-skeletal 
leg, or a knee ball  on an endo-skeletal.
if it's a bk, and you have heavy thighs <like me> then perhaps some type of 
sheath might work.  i don't use one, as i find it cumbersome.
that and i really don't care anymore.
