I would suggest that a lot of the attraction to $$ is psycological as well. Many women will not even talk to men they think are poor.They will only select potential partners from the sub set "wealthy", but just because you are wealthy doesn't mean they are going to select you -unless you meet secondary criteria.  I don't have a problem with this as it keeps alot of  insincere women out of my life!! I am not sure if devotees are for me either Ryan, and I can understand you being wary about them. Maybe it is MY morbid curiousity, but I can't resist having a look. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

  Duncan, a Devotee being attracted to someone with an amputation is really not like being attracted so someone with $$, blonde hair, etc...  A lot of their attraction is psychological and they are are only attracted to the limb sexually, which I guess can be ok for some people.  I see how being attracted to someone with $$ can HELP a relationship since you can do more things, but being attracted to someone JUST for their amputation is just messed up in my eyes.  Its like these devotees have a need to help out and be a mother-figure to the amputee or something like that.  No thanks, keep me away from them.

    I to received the women admirers e-mail and being a 'typical' bloke I immediately thought "humm women who might have sex with me because I've got a amputation - what a great concept!!" (I know, call me shallow) then I thought what an odd concept so I had a look at the site and came to the conclusion that there is no real difference between this and  women who prefer men with long hair or a fast car or a secure job (or for that matter men who prefer big breasted women). We all have preferences and look for particular attributes that we want in a potential partner, friend, lover - this one just seems a bit more shocking than most I guess. I'm sure that there are a few strange ones that use the site but that is true about a lot of sites. So anyway I have joined the group to see what gives and I will give you  all some feed back a little down the track - If I'm not back in two weeks send in a rescue party!!
