Barr Foundation and Dr. Jan Ertl to Attend the 2004 CAPO Convention
in Ottawa,Ontario July 21-24,2004

The Barr Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non profit organization was
established in 1978 to assist amputees with prosthetic rehabilitation
who otherwise have no financial resources. The Foundation accepts
used and new prosthetic components as donations for third-world
efforts where we have established programs in 9 foreign countries.

We also actively advocate on behalf of amputees for proper and
qualified prosthetic services and promote innovative amputation
surgical techniques.

One of our current roles is promoting the Ertl-Osteomyplastic
Amputation Procedure for initial amputation and reconstruction. See
more at <www.ertlreconstruction.com>

Since 1995 our organization has provided funding thru sponsoring
prosthetists to nearly 1000 amputees in 38 states and 9 foreign
countries. Since March 2004 we have distributed over 800 videos (VHS
and DVD) describing the Ertl procedure.

Dr. Jan Ertl has offered to evaluate amputees with problem stumps to
determine if they maybe candidates for the Ertl Procedure at the
conference.

This is our first appearance in Canada so please stop by our exhibit
booth located just outside the exhibit hall at the Canadian
Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CAPO) at the Crowne Plaza
Hotel in Ottawa.

Introduce yourself and learn more about the Barr Foundation and Ertl
Procedure. We look forward to meeting our Canadian neighbors. Invite
your surgeons, prosthetists, and fellow amputees to attend.
