Asking for Help

Hi!

My name is Moyra Tarling and I'm a published author of 15+ Romance novels 
and am meantime working on a mystery novel.  I've been doing research for a 
female character I'm creating, a character who is a BK amputee.

Wayne, your list owner, has already been kind enough to answer some 
questions for me... But I'm hoping that one (or more) of the women on this 
list might be willing to "chat" to me via email/  and help me bring this 
character to life, and to give a female perspective.

If any of you are mystery readers my Novel would be characterized as an 
Amateur Sleuth Mystery.  My protagonist is Samantha MacLean a woman of 
30... She is a Photo Journalist working in the Middle East when a bomb goes 
off in a restaurant where she is eating and as a result she loses the lower 
part of her left leg.

She returns to her home town of Whisper Lake (a small fictional town in 
British Columbia, Canada) to live with her cousin and come to terms with 
this tragedy, only to discover that her cousin has been murdered.   Sam 
sets out to uncover the murderer.

This will also be a novel of personal growth and I'm hoping Sam will become 
an ongoing character in subsequent mystery novels.

If any of the women on the list is willing to 'talk' to me, to answer 
questions that will probably get a little personal ... I'd really 
appreciate any help I can get.
