I am a 32 female LAK amputee from Belgium.
I recently lost my left leg in a car accident.
I have been amputated high above the knee.
I do not ware a prothese yet and it is not certain that I will wear one (so 
said my prothesist).
I am desperate. So if there are other amputees like me who can help, I woud 
be very gratefull.
I want to walk again, to get on with my life on 2 legs (one real and one 
artificial).
People are staring at me when I hop by.
