Kudos to Sara and Paddy Rossbach
Jeff and Anita make good points...as always :)
Most super amps have access to comp prosthetic components as manufactures
reps.Example OSSUR for Sara. Not to take anything away from Sara's personal
fortitude and motivation.
I saw the show and it could be percieved by the public that every amp has
access to this technology. Not so!
Most amps can get coverage for additional fittings and components every 3.5
years when its required at $12k-$40 k a pop.Never mind those liners every
year!
I know because we get called everyday for assistance.
Have a nice day!

>From Ms. Anita Kliber:
in theory jeff, that's a great idea. but no one wants to talk to us
"regular" amps. only super amps. and i applaud sara, and everyone like
her, however, not all of us are "super" enough to get anyone's attention.
they don't take into account the amp who just gets up everyday, puts on a
leg, and gets to the business of life. the amputee mom, who carries to term
a pregnancy, then raises her child/children, not special. clearly, it
doesn't put us on the map. :) anita

If we can not document and prove the results of what we do, we may not be
allowed to share in these great folks goals and dreams in the
future........... Have a great Evening,
