Hello,
Does anyone have any advice for getting in and out of bathtubs and
showers? Jim Street
Jim, in our house there is no place next to the shower for a towel to be
hung or a leg to be placed. But, a small white plastic lawn chair is in the
shower. You step in the shower with the leg on and place the leg on the
floor outside the shower. Make sure you have also placed a towel to dry your
stump next to your leg. Then put the leg back on and step out of the shower
and go on with the business of drying off. Or get s shower leg or a cover
for the leg that is water proof. But if you do not want to break your other
leg I would not suggest crutches where water is possible. Kerplunk !!!
