[AMP-L] Getting in and out of shower stalls and bathtubs

It would be very interesting to get about 100 responses to this question,
because I am sure that there would be many solutions - "where there's a
will, there's a way!"
We have a master bedroom shower stall and I take off my leg by our bed, then
crutch to the shower, and placing my crutches on something DRY outside of
the shower, I lift myself backward into the shower and over the threshold.
Then sit down on a shower seat. The crutches are left outside the shower.
What has been really interesting is visiting relatives - once I forgot my
crutches and had to figure out how to get into a bathtub (without grab
bars). It wasn't easy (and I'm sure it didn't look pretty), but I did it!
