[AMP-L] Suction or Pin??

Liners and sleeves. The never ending quest for competent Prosthetists and truthful manufacturers.
Truth--there are no perfect suspension systems. Thats why there are bones on the inside of our limbs and they are not an exo-skeletal set up by design. So supporting the body from without is iffy at best.
Additional truth-- each patient is different. People who like to cubbyhole and generalize are not working with the question to find a process answer.
Now here are some facts of my case:
I have a gel liner because it is the most comfortable for the socket I own. My prosthetist cast me in a competent manner but he is not the best. If my socket doesn't fit that well I get recast, I don't try adaptive insets, socks, or liners.
