Hi anita

I've been dealing with something called Fibromyalgia. It causes wide spread pain in muscles, and soft tissue. A real good web site  on Fibro is menwithfibro.com.

It's got so bad I'm on disability now.

Then I spent October, November, and December in the hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. I went in thinking I was having a heart attack, and it turned out to be a tear in my esophagus, and my upper body was full of food waste and infection.

They opened me up cleaned out what they could. They gave me a 30% chance of pulling through. I was in a coma for over a week. I then had two more operations to repair and rebuild the connection  between the esophagus and stomach.

They think it was caused by a operation I had for acid reflux.

It was really hard on the kids and Tracy. I think it has also has made us a stronger family.

Our oldest Kelsi is going to Germany and Europe for three weeks with the Iowa Ambassadors of Music.

And yes I have a Total Knee Replacement on my left below knee amputation. My knee gave out a year after the amputation. If you remember I got on Ian's list with the question "To Save the Knee or Not" I'm so glad I found all you guys and went with the BK amputation based on the advise I got online. 

The Total knee has been working great, and the amputation was the best thing for me after all those operations to try and save my foot.

How's your family? Are you guys still in the Pizza business? 

I see we lost a great friend James Stewart. Have you heard anything from Diana Gresham. I know she was not doing good the last time I talked to her. 

I'm going to try and make next years ACA meeting. I wanted to go to this years meeting but my health is still touch and go.
