As far as blisters go-- no matter what the prossies say about ingrown hairs, it is about the socket fit, the alignment, or the shoes. You are hearing this from an amp who has had perpetual blisters from day one (16 yrs).
I was fortunate to see a genius of an amputee skin doctor before he died, Richard Levy. He had written his doctoral thesis on amp skin the year I was born, and I was seeing him when I was 49 years old.
This was his RX and I still use it with various levels of success:
Wash stump and liner regularly with Lever 2000. Apply Iodoquinol to sore areas and pressure points at night.  Wash off before you don liner.
Iodoquinol only comes in a 1% with hydrocortisone (which you don't need) yet it works anyway. Hopefully hydrocortisone won't thin your skin much.
Good luck but keep in mind that the cause is the fit.
