[AMP-L] Mobility post AKA with advancing age

Good morning, folks:

I may have asked this question before, but I don't recall any clear answer.  I
am now 70 years old.  I get around fine right now and am quite healthy.  But my
wife is concerned with how well I'll be able to get around as we age together. 
I have looked in the medical literature for information on how well AKAs do with
ambulation as they age.  (Say 80s - 90s. I'm an optimist!)

It occurred to me that there might be some PT/OT folks or Physical Therapists
following this list that might have even some anecdotal information about this
question.
