If you have insurance that covered your amputation they might be a good
resource. Barring that option you might find state agencies willing to
help. In Texas we have the Dept for Assistive and Rehabilitative Services
(DARS). If you are a veteran they can also help in the some circumstances.

All,
My question centers around financing options to finance such modifications.
Are there agencies or grants out there that are not dependent upon income,
as last year I made too much but this year am poor on paper.
