[AMP-L] re: Sick of sneakers

Well, thanks for all your stories guys, but I'm not looking for heels. I'm just looking for a flat dress shoe that isn't real flimsy or narrow. My left foot wears a 6 1/2 med and my prosthetic foot wears a 6 1/2 wide. I'm just looking for something that is sort of dressy/sporty that would go with dress slacks. 

I have another question. What do you do to go out in the snow? I have to go to a lot of doctors all the time. Any suggestions what I can wear when it snows, especially when it is deep?

My prothetist doesn't really answer me. He just shakes his head and says he doesn't believe I even worry about these things. The whole purpose of getting a prosthetic leg and foot is to try to get back to normal as possible, right? 

No offense guys, but I'm not going to be wearing motorcycle boots, so I'd appreciate it if I  could just hear from the ladies. Thanks for the stories, anyhow.
