My left foot wears a 6 1/2 med and my prosthetic foot wears a 6 1/2 wide.
This can be a problem. I am battling at the moment to get a prosthetic foot that is close in width to my actual foot. I like to wear sandal in the summer and they look silly if one foot is much narrower than the other.
I'm just looking for something that is sort of dressy/sporty that would go with dress slacks.
I have slip on Nordstom shoes, a black and blue pair. They are not totally flat, as my prosthetic foot is adjust for a slight heel. I just have to match this with other shoes.
what I can wear when it snows, especially when it is deep?
I have a pair of boots, the come just above my ankle, this is good for most snow. I also have a pair of snow shoes that I use when I walk my dog in the bush. I wear these with boots. I also have a pair of ice grips, I love these, especially walking in the bush when it is slippery or slushy
My prothetist doesn't really answer me. He needs to listen to you, if he doesn't I suggest you try to find someone who will. I have dress shoes, walking shoes, hiking boots, sneakers and sandals. It takes a little more time to find shoes with the correct heel height but there are many out there.
Good luck.
