[AMP-L] Phantom limb "tingle"

Dear Larry:
I have been a LAK amputee for 40 years and the phantom pain I have today is
very similar to what you describe. In my case it works very well to
stretch my residual limb by pulling it with both hands towards my chest.
Swimming is always very good but avoid moving your residual limb too much.
Pain gets really bad when muscles around the ciatic nerve remain tense
(muscle contracture) A simple massage will dissolve a normal contracture
after too much walking or exercising.
