I flew from Indianapolis to Orlando in mid-February with my prosthesis on and no problems at all. In fact, I was running late to catch the plane and was rushed through security, then an airline (AirTran) representative met me and accompanied me to the plane where one of the male officers spotted me to my seat. (I’m still very unsteady on my prosthesis – had the amp on Nov. 16, 2010, and still had a temp.) I wasn’t wearing the prosthesis on the way back, so it wasn’t an issue. I’m off to Las Vegas for a meeting in August. We’ll see what happens then. It probably depends on the airport.
