[AMP-L] Marine Recovering Following Triple Amputation

Nick Kimmel, a 22-year-old Marine from Moses Lake, is recovering from 
injuries he sustained in December while serving in Afghanistan. 
Kimmel is a triple amputee after stepping on an improvised explosive 
device. He was the only one injured in the blast.

Kimmel's mother, Julie Graham, lived in Ellensburg for 10 years and 
worked at Salon Zuchis on East University Way in Ellensburg. Some of 
her Ellensburg clients still travel to Moses Lake for her hairstyling 
services.

Kimmel joined the Marine Corps in 2008, graduating from boot camp in 
December of that year. Right away Kimmel was stationed in Okinawa, 
Japan. He is a combat engineer.
