Sexual Assault Awareness and Apple Cup

Hi.

I was doing some thinking about our idea to do sexual assault awareness
during apple cup. After conferring with some of the ASUW women (some of
whom I think actually go to the games, unlike myself), they didn't think
that Apple Cup was sparking any rise in Sexual Assault. I will double
check with SARIS, but they had a lot of good points. One, most of us won't
get out to Pullman. Two, there's probably a lot more drinking related
fighting going on than sexual assault. Three, How is Apple Cup any
different than Homecoming, or any other game?

If anyone would like to differ with these thoughts, please let us know
over email. Otherwise, what I think we're doing just conflict with what
CORE does (which, by the way, is looking for volunteers!).

Thanks, Ray
