thought you might be interested since 72% of those making the minimum wage are over 20 and female, your help would be greatly appreciated.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
TO ALL SUPPORTERS OF I-688, THE CAMPAIGN TO RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE---WE NEED YOUR HELP--. As you may keep hearing "turnout is the key to victory this year." Well, it is true, however, we can't get the turnout we need to win (as well as to make sure the good candidates, and good initiatives win) with just our office staff on the job. The bottomline is WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!!!!!
Volunteers are a crucial part to winning, especially for low budget, grass roots campaigns as ours who can't afford to pay many staffers. We need folks to help with phone-banking, canvassing neighborhoods, and a ton of activities that will help us get out the vote.
If you are interested contact me directly immediately: David Irwin, Jr. I-688 Field Director, at (206) 256-6391, e-mail david at i-688.org, or stop by I-688 headquarters located in the Carpenter's Hall, 2512 2nd Ave., Seattle, WA 98109 (corner of Second & Wall in Belltown)
We can provide a decent, livable, fair wage for thousands of Washington workers but we need your help to do it.
Thank you in advance for your help,
David M. Irwin, Jr.
