Good Evening, Everyone!

This week, Campus Radical Women will be having our regular study group,
but with a little twist. We're still reading the article, "Issei Working
Women In Hawaii" from the book, Making Waves: An Anthology of Writings By
and About Asian American Women. Instead of ending our study group at
the normal time of 8:30pm, it'll end at 8:00pm. At that time we will make
picket signs for the TA strike, picket lines and rally on Tuesday. I urge
everyone to join us in learning the history of Asian American women and to
make history by supporting the TA strike. If you can't make this study
group session or picket-sign making party, bur are interested in working
with Campus Radical Women in supporting the strike, contact
us. Otherwise, see you all at the Ethnic Cultural Center in the Native
American Room! :)

Weekly public discussions on the book:

        "Making Waves"
Asian American women write about immigration, activism, discrimination,
& identity

This groundbreaking anthology reveals the courageous leadership of Asian,
Pacific Islander, and East Indian women in the U.S. as fighters for race
and sex liberation. Through historical essays and exploration of issues
ranging from war and internment, to work, family and community organizing,
the authors celebrate the contributions of indomitable Asian/Pacific
American women.

Mondays, 7:00pm - 8:30pm
