Home Alive Self-Defense Workshop: April 24 and 26!

Hey everyone... please pass this on to your constituents.  This is a great
opportunity for ALL UW students!

Have you ever taken the time to learn how to protect yourself?  Have you,
or someone you know, ever been a victim of violence?  Do you know what you
should do if you are attacked?

Home Alive can teach you everything you need to know about self-defense!
Everyone, regardless of race, age, or sex, should know how to protect
themselves.  Come to the ASUW Women's Action Commission's FREE
Self-Defense Workshops during UW's Sexual Assault and Relationship
Violence Awareness (SARVA) week.

We will be holding two workshops, and you can come to either or both of
them.  On Tuesday, April 24th, there will be workshop that will discuss
Boundary Setting and Assertiveness Training, and on Thursday, April 26th,
there will be a Basic Self-Defense Workshop.  Both workshops start at 6:00
PM and will be located in HUB 108.  These workshops are FREE and open to
EVERYONE!

Please come join us and participate in this fabulous opportunity.
Self-Defense is a skill everyone should have.  If you want more
