Subject: URGENT Alert: Funding for Naturalization & Food Assistance for
Legal Immigrant Programs (fwd)
Hey everyone!
Please read this and help out by either forwarding this email to others or
by calling your legislator and protest against this huge budget decrease! A
large percentage of legal immigrants are within Seattle, most of them are
barely making it through bills, supporting their families, other main
exspenses, etc. This hinderment of the food assistance will keep them at
"low-level" in society and a large portion of these people will become
malnourished of their daily needs. So please help out and call your
legislator!
Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

Subject: URGENT ALERT RE: NATURALIZATION AND FOOD
ASSISTANCE FOR LEGAL
IMMIGRANTS PROGRAMS
We have just learned that the Washington State House and Senate have
underfunded the naturalization program by $900,000 and the food
assistance
program for legal immigrants by $2 million. These programs are
absolutely
critical to our Asian Pacific American community. Concerned community
members and organizations should take appropriate action immediately.
