[ASUW Women's Action Commission]

Hello wonderful WACsters!

Welcome back, I hope the new quarter is good to all you thus far.  This quarterer is JAM packed with amazing WAC events and I can't wait for all of you to get involved! The next WAC meeting will be THIS upcoming Thursday April 10th at 3pm in the WAC office, HUB 201.  We will be discussing the upcoming WAC events, which include (but aren't limited to!):

1. SARVA (Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence Awareness) Week: April 14-18

2. Guest speaker John Bowe: lecture "Modern American slave labor" focusing on human/sex trafficking: April 15th

3. Guest speaker: Rosemary Garland Thompson: lecture on Disability and feminism: May 22

4. Guest performance: Butchilitalis de Panotchilan: Butch Chicano duo: perform spoken word and talk about intersectionalies of Queerness, Gender, and being a Chicana: May 30

These are going to be GREAT events, but to make them that way I need ALL YOUR HELP!  Please come to the WAC meeting to help organize.
