[Chessclub] Thanksgiving News Update

Hello everyone,

Get ready for our special Thanksgiving Chess Club news update:

Eleven players competed in our tournament on Monday.  Eric Tohni was the 
winner, and Peter Miller took second after beating Tristan Ford in a 
tiebreaker.  Thanks to everyone who participated for making it a great 
tournament!

Next Wednesday, November 29th, Brian will be giving a lesson.  If you're 
a beginning or intermediate player, I encourage you to attend and 
improve your game.

We will also be holding a speed chess tournament on Monday, December 
4th, at our regular meeting time and place.  There is a $5 entry fee, 
with 50% returned in prizes.

Finally, I would like to announce the club has two new officers!  Peter 
Miller has taken over the role of Co-President, and Eric Tohni is our 
new Secretary.  With their help we will be bringing you more fun 
activities throughout the year.
