[Chessclub] First Meeting Monday, Tournament Saturday!

Hey chess players,

Hope you had a chance to come check out the giant chess set last 
Thursday.  It was a lot of fun to play and watch!  Our first meeting of 
the year will be tomorrow night from 7-9 in the Mechanical Engineering 
building, room 246.  There will be free pizza, so come check it out. 

At the meeting you can also preregister for our fall tournament, which 
is this Saturday in the Ethnic Cultural Center (see our website 
http://students.washington.edu/chessuw/ for full details and a map).  
For students the entry fee is $7 for the unrated section and $15 for 
rated if you preregister.  You can still register at the door from 
10:00-10:30 on Saturday, but the cost goes up to $10 unrated/ $20 
rated.  70% will be returned in prizes, so you have a chance to win some 
money and you will be supporting the club!  The first round begins at 
10:45 Saturday morning, hope to see you there!
