[Chessclub] Fall Chess Tournament and Giant Chess

Hello everyone,

Hope your first day back was a success!  Tomorrow is the Student Activities Fair.    The chess club will be tabling in Red Square, and we will have a giant chess board.  Come check it out, and maybe play some giant chess!

We will also be hosting a tournament on October 7th.  There is a USCF rated section for those interested in being rated, as well as a less competitive unrated section.  There are discounted entry fees for students and preregistrants, so register early!  You can register in person at any of our meetings or at the table tomorrow.  Besides the thrill of tournament play you will have the opportunity to win some great prizes!  More details about the tournament are on the website at www.students.washington.edu/chessuw.
