Jonathan,

I ran into the same issue most likely due to the fact that the AML is
written for a previous version of ArcINFO other than 9.1.  I made some minor
changes to my version to get it working.  I will send my version of
createstreamnetwork.aml to your email.

I'm running the AML code in arcinfo 9.1 as per the instructions in the
tutorial, on the tutorial dataset, and I'm getting the following error:

** Item "FRO//SPOT" not found **

Any ideas on what is going on?  Its occurring during the slope calculation,
at this line in the code:

calc from = fro//spot
