[Dhsvm-users] Question about fixroads.c

I have gotten CreateRoadNetwork (CRN) to work to a degree. I'm still having
trouble getting fixroads to exectute, but CRN goes ahead and finsishes, then I
go into CYGwin (or linux, both work) and execute fixroads independently. This
creates all the files and they all have the correct EOL format for the linux OS
and dhsvm.

Question. During the CRN aml, it creates a dem.txt file using the gridascii
command and is immediately called upon by fixroads. In the fixroads code,
there is a comment that states "// Assume that the dem and mask files have been
stripped of headers".

(A) This dem.txt file is not stripped of it's header in the aml.
(B) In addition, the mask file is not called upon by the fixroads program that I
can see.

Does anyone have an explanation?

Other than that as best I can tell I've created the correct files in the correct
format. Although running fixroads seperately is a minor inconvenience, it's not
bad. I'll see next week if dhsvm will balk at the files that have been created.

Thanks for all your assistance so far.
