Dear DHSVM users,
Greeting to all DHSVM users, this is my first mail to this archives.
Currently, I'm trying to use DHSVM to predict the sediment amount in
basin scale in the northern part of Thailand. Now I successfully
running the tutorial based on the provide instruction (using debian -
unix system) and then try to run version 3.0 for achieving only the
surface erosion result. I have some question as the following:
1. What is the different between version 3.0 and 3.0_r1?
2. How can I get the result of sediment balance? What is the
configuration file look like? Firstly, I ran the model with option
sediment = FLASE then the result shows only the streamflow. Next I
turned on sediment = TRUE and specified the sediment input file path.
So far, running is crashed because of something wrong in the sediment
input file (mwm file).
3. As the version 2.0, in version 3.0, do I need to run the
hydrological module first and then run the mass wasting module later,
or will It run simultaneously for version 3.0? I get confuse about the
mwm input file for version 3.0, whether it exactly the same to version
2.0 or something should be edited e.g. the repeat of soil and
vegetation file and so on.
4. Does anyone have completed running sediment module in version
3.0/3.0_r1? Your note/trick on how to set everything right and also a
sample of the input/output file is very useful for me.
Thanks in advance, any idea/suggestion would be highly appreciated.
