Piyawat,

here are some answers:

1. the r1 version has some known bugs that have been resolved. We are in
the process of updating the r1 version, r2 will be available in the
near future.

2. The results of the sediment balance are output as described here:
http://www.hydro.washington.edu/Lettenmaier/Models/DHSVM/documentation.shtml#output

3. If you intend to use the mass wasting option in the sediment model, you
should run the model without the sediment model first. This allows you to
identify the events of interest that you want to simulate with the
mass wasting option (look at the saturation_extent.txt file). Then set up the sediment control
file for those specific events. If you do not wish to use the mass wasting
option, you do not need to run DHSVM twice, just put the sediment model on
from the beginning ( with the approprate settings in the MWM control
file).

4. I am processing a sample of input/output files to run with DHSVM 3.0
You will find them on the documentation page of the website, in the
Model Output section. I will let you know when I post them.

best,

Nathalie
