Thank you for responding.  Can you modify the settings below to make it
right?  I get output for only layer 1 from this, as file
Map.1.Soil.Moist.bin.

Number of Map Variables      = 1
Map Variable 1               = 501 
Map Layer 1                  = 1 
Number of Maps 1             = 1 
Map Date 1 1                 = 12/01/2001-17 
Map Variable 2               = 501 
Map Layer 2                  = 2
Number of Maps 2             = 1
Map Date 1 2                 = 04/01/2002-0
