[Dhsvm-users] RootBrent and Albedo

Dear DHSVM users,

I am having the following error:

Root not bracketed in RootBrent(): RootBrent: y = 261, x = 550

I have tried to trace the problem backwards and I believe it is being caused by an error when calculating albedo.  When I print out the albedo values that are part of the vegetation data structure (VType->Albedo) I am seeing a lot of 99 values.  My problem now is that I cannot find where this albedo value is being calculated after searching through a lot of DHSVM code.  

I am guessing that the ultimate problem is somewhere in my input data, but so far I have not found anything that looks abnormal.  If anyone could give me some direction on what part of my input data could be causing this error or how I could be getting these error values when calculating albedo I would greatly appreciate it.
