[Dhsvm-users] invalid date specified in met file.

Erika -

Having the station outside of the model mask should not be a problem. I would check the number of columns specified in your met file carefully - if you have a different number of columns than the model is expecting the date on 10/02/2003 would be read incorrectly. Many of the columns are optional depending on which options you have selected in the configuration file, so there may be a mismatch.

Subject: [Dhsvm-users] invalid date specified in met file.

DHSVM users:

I am receiving an error when running DHSVM related to my met file. The error is as follows:

changing LAI, albedo and diffuse transmission parameters
10/01/2003-00:00:00
Invalid date specified in: ../files_potlatch/metdata/met.met.met_004_windprofile

The met file contains this date and everything seems fine. This is also my first MET Station in my list of 62 stations and it is not within my mask, but very close. My colleagues have been able to include MET Stations that were near their mask, but not within it, so I do not think that is the source of the error. Does anyone have any experience with this 'invalid date specified' error?

Thanks.

-Erika
