I think that there is an interesting clue worth pursuing in the line:   The number of pixels that define the source area is 0.61728395061

My guess is that you have either A) incorrectly defined the source area in the call to the aml, or B) have a DEM that is in a geographic coordinate system rather than a projected coordinate system (i.e. UTM)

I  have run the example downloaded university of washington successfully. But now I use my data to run the createstreamnetwork.aml, there is an odd and servious problem. Running the createstreamnetwork.aml, the DOS screen show some problems as followings:
