[Dhsvm-users] Sediment transport

I am trying to understand the sediment module output.  I am confused by the fact that my watershed has mass wasting, road surface erosion, and channel erosion being modeled, yet there are long periods of time during winter high flow where no sediment is predicted in the sed.streamflow.only file.  This makes me think that the DHSVM sediment model is not modeling fine suspended load, which is ubiquitous in western US forest streams during winter runoff.


Anyone have any perspectives on this?  Are there some parameters that are sensitive to this other than the obvious soil and debris flow size specifications?
