Do you ever wonder what is behind the Nobel Prize in Economics? The UW Economics Alumni Organization and the UW Alumni Association are excited to present a special lecture for Economics grads with Professor Yu-chin Chen, who helps us better understand the research behind the recent Nobel Prize in Economics.
Professor Chen explains the award-winning research of recipients Finn E. Kydland and Edward C. Prescott, who received the prize for their work on dynamic macroeconomics, specifically business cycles and the time consistency of economic policy. What ensures that fiscal policy of today is good for tomorrow? Join us and see.
When: Thursday, April 28, 2005. Reception begins at 7 p.m. followed by the lecture.
Where: Kane Hall Walker-Ames Room, UW Seattle campus
Cost: UWAA Members $5, Non-members $7, Students $3
