 TOPICS IN MACROECONOMIC RESEARCH:  Wednesday, May 4th, 3:00 - 4:00, in 
Savery
 302

 Hear Professor YU-CHIN CHEN speak about her research in international
 macroeconomics.  Dr. Chen received her Ph.D from Harvard University, and 
she has
 conducted research on exchange rate fundamentals and debt relief, and was a
 visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank, in Boston.


 TOPICS IN MICROECONOMIC RESEARCH:  Thursday, May 5th, 4:00 - 5:00, in 
Savery 132

 Hear Professor EUGENE SILBERBERG speak about his current research topic, 
the
 diffusion of tractor technology.  Dr. Silberberg received his Ph.D from 
Purdue
 University and has contributed greatly to the areas of duality and consumer
 surplus theory.  Dr. Silberberg will be speaking to undergraduates on how 
they
 can apply linear programming methods to economic research.
