Updates from Economics Advising Office on Adds & Drops, Graduation and Graduating Senior Priority (GSP), Drop-In Advising





Graduating in June or August and participating in the June commencement ceremony
If you plan to complete your degree in June 2009, you must have your senior appointment completed by Friday, April 17th.



If you are graduating in August and plan to walk in the June ceremony, you must have your senior appointment completed by Friday, April 17th.



If winter quarter is your last quarter before graduation, you must make your senior appointment by Friday, January 23rd.



To make a senior/graduation appointment, send an email to econadv at u.washington.edu with your name, student number, and several times that you are available.



Winter Registration and Graduating Senior Priority


Spring registration begins Friday, February 20th. (GSP). For those of you who have not yet filed for GSP: Students who want graduating senior priority (GSP) for spring quarter must have their senior/graduation appointment completed by Wednesday, February 18th.



To make a senior/graduation appointment, send an email to econadv at u.washington.edu with your name, student number, and several times that you are available. (Note: we are not able to make an appointment during the first week of the quarter.)



Reminder:

Last day to add or drop classes on MyUW without a late fee being charged: Sunday, January 11.



Dropping Classes:

No late fee for drops Jan. 5-11. From January 12-18 a late fee of $20 is charged for drops. From January 19 - February 22, you can drop one course, however a $20 fee is assessed and it will require the use of your annual drop.



Adding Classes:

No late fee for adds January 5-11 . From January 12-18, a late fee of $20 (and entry code) is needed for adds.



Time Schedules
The spring quarter time schedule will be online at: http://www.washington.edu/students/timeschd/ in early February.



Drop in Advising - Condon 413
Come meet with an adviser! You may drop by Monday -Friday 8am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-5pm from January 5-9 (keep in mind that you may have to wait.) >From January 12 through the end of the quarter, you may drop by

Monday - Thursday 3:00-4:00pm,

Tuesday - Wednesday 11:00am - 12:00pm.

On Fridays, please make an appointment.
