ONLY A FEW SPACES REMAIN FOR THIS EVENT!
Ever wondered what economists can do for national security? Want to learn more about working as an analyst for the CIA? Come find out on Monday, Nov. 9 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Some food will be provided.
Join us for a simulation of a national security crisis. You will play the role of an analyst for the afternoon. Intelligence analysts and analytic methodologists at the CIA gather information from a wide variety of sources, draw on their own personal expertise and that of their cohorts. You and your team mates will be charged with analyzing an emerging problem that demands sophisticated analysis. Your team must quickly evaluate the situation, and ultimately help advise the President on possible outcomes and courses of action.
If you are an American citizen, have a cumulative GPA over 3.0, and taken at least an introductory course in economic or international affairs, please contact Ahna or Nick at econadv at u.washington.edu to sign up. Space is limited.
